Big News, Bold Moves: Eclipse Creative Acquires Conquest Maps

Every once in a while, you wake up in the middle of the night with a wild idea.
Some people roll over and go back to sleep.
Entrepreneurs? We start planning.
That’s exactly how this story started.
I woke up with one thought:
“Why not acquire Conquest Maps?”
We had already been working closely with Ross Worden and his team for several months. The more time I spent with them, the more I admired what they were building—and the more potential I saw in where we could go together.
So over breakfast (as all great ideas deserve), I sat down with Ross and a mutual friend and consultant, Jeff Sopp, and simply asked:
“Have you ever considered selling?”
To my surprise, Ross didn’t blink. The timing was right. The vision made sense. And as Ross put it, we had a real “yin and yang” thing going. In a matter of weeks, our conversations turned into plans, and those plans became reality.
Why Conquest Maps?
If you haven’t heard of Conquest Maps, let me paint the picture—literally.
They’re a Columbus-based company known for crafting high-quality custom push pin travel maps and wall décor designed to inspire adventure and storytelling. It’s a business built on connection—giving people a beautiful way to reflect on where they’ve been and dream about where they’re going.
Their business is primarily B2C, and they’ve built a passionate community of customers who truly love what the brand stands for. And now, with the support and structure of Eclipse Creative behind it, we’re incredibly excited to help Conquest Maps expand into B2B territory as well—think branded corporate gifts, travel-centric client experiences, hospitality, and beyond.
Just as importantly, they bring capabilities and creative firepower that will enhance the work we’re already doing inside Eclipse’s Grand Format Print division.
More Than a Merger—A Cultural Fit
What made this deal move so quickly—and feel so right—was the relationship.
Ross and his team are smart, humble, creative people. They care deeply about what they’re building, and that shows in every detail. As we talked through the vision for what could come next, we realized we weren’t just aligning in business strategy—we were aligning in values.
At Eclipse, we talk a lot about being growth-minded—and this acquisition is exactly that.
It’s not about adding revenue for the sake of it. It’s about adding possibility.
What’s Next?
Ross will continue to lead the Conquest brand while bringing his innovative spirit to our larger team. We’re also thrilled to welcome Tony Molchen, who will oversee operations across both the Print Division and Conquest Maps, ensuring we maintain the level of quality, precision, and speed our customers expect—and then some.
Together, we’re blending product, print, and passion.
We’re adding another strong brand to the Eclipse portfolio.
And we’re opening the door to new creative adventures that we’re only just beginning to imagine.
Why This Feels Right
Even with a couple of acquisitions under my belt, I’ll admit—these deals don’t get less intense. But they do get more meaningful. What energizes me isn’t just growth for the sake of growth. It’s the kind of growth that opens doors—for people, ideas, creativity, and collaboration.
That’s what Conquest Maps brings. And that’s what we’re building toward at Eclipse.
We’re thrilled to add another bold, creative brand to the Eclipse portfolio—and even more thrilled about where we’re headed next.
